Insurance and Billing

If you have insurance, we will help you maximize your benefits by filing for you. However, a co-payment (coinsurances or deductible) will be collected at the time of scheduling or in advance of the procedure date. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and Discover.

You will receive one bill from the center for use of the outpatient facility, nursing services and all medications and equipment required during your endoscopic procedure. This bill is separate from the medical services provided by your gastroenterologist. You may also receive separate bills for pathology, lab and anesthesia services when applicable. (Payments must be made to each entity separately).

The Endoscopy Center of Southeast Texas participates in the Medicare and Texas Medicaid programs, as well as most commercial insurance plans. As with all insurance companies, verification of coverage is not a guarantee of payment. You will need to confirm your insurance carrier’s facility, lab and referral/pre-certification requirements prior to your procedure in order to receive the maximum benefit. You must notify our billing office of any changes in your coverage before your procedure date.
